Mehak Katarya

Mehak Katarya obtained her BSc degree in Clinical Technology, a joint program of TU Delft, Erasmus MC, and LUMC. She is currently an MSc student in the Medical Devices track within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at TU Delft and joined the Bioelectronics Group in May 2026. Her research interests include biomedical device development, prototyping, and validation. Her current thesis project, supervised by Prof. Paddy French, focuses on developing an alternative arteriotomy creation method for the Elana coronary anastomotic system. This system is used to create vascular connections in coronary bypass surgery, and the project is carried out in collaboration with AMT Medical.
