Joris Hoogeweegen

Born on December 8, 2002, in Amsterdam and raised in Rotterdam, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from TU Delft and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree with a specialization in Biomedical Circuits and Systems. In September 2026, he will begin his Master’s thesis with the Bioelectronics Group, focusing on system architecture investigation for neural stimulation electronics in visual prostheses. Alongside his studies, he serves as a teaching assistant for the COMBINE project and several undergraduate electrical engineering courses. His interests include neuroprostheses, teaching, skiing, chess, and camping.
