Irene Guglielmi Cervera

Irene Guglielmi Cervera received her BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Biomedical Engineering at Ghent University, where she specializes in medical devices and neuroengineering. Since September 2026, she has been working with the Bioelectronics group at TU Delft as part of her master’s thesis, focusing on the design, microfabrication and characterization of microelectrode arrays for in vitro multimodal neural platforms. Her research interests include neural interfaces and neuroprosthetics, particularly the development of neural interfaces for intuitive control of prosthetic limbs.
